Printed EVA foam traction pads are softer and use the same material that is on the bottom of your running shoes. They provide more cushioning and are more resistant to dirt, fur, and fluids, but will show claw marks more easily. The felt traction pads don't offer much cushioning, but they are more durable and can withstand the occasional stretch and scratch.

Gen 6-7 pads are close enough in size to Gen 5 ones that they can also be used for Gen 5 wheels as long as you trim the last pad down. We no longer sell Gen 1-4 pads, and they are a very different size from a Gen 7. If you have a wheel older than a Gen 5, it may be best to DIY your own pads from adhesive foam sheets. 

*Pads are often cut long to ensure full coverage of the wheel. Please note that a bit of trimming of the last pad is typically required to avoid an overlap.
